From the brink of not qualifying for finals to becoming champions
Entering the final round of the regular season, the team’s hopes of making the finals were hanging by a thread. Not only did PCG needed to win their own match—they needed two other results to fall perfectly into place.
Furia defeated Perth Pumas 2-1
Wolves SBISC defeated Arqam Eagles 5-3
PCG defeated Spearwood Lions 7-0 which sealed a spot in the finals
Quarter Final – vs Jets (6-3 Win)
Drawn against the top-of-the-table Jets, many counted Galaxy out. But under pressure, the team rose to the occasion in spectacular fashion. A relentless attacking display saw them dismantle the league leaders 6-3 to go through to the Semi Final.
Semi Final – vs West Coast Cobras (8-2 Win)
If the quarter final was an upset, the semi-final was a statement. Galaxy stormed past the highly-favoured West Coast Cobras with a very convincing 8-2 victory.
Grand Final – vs Furia FC (1-0 Win)
In a tightly contested final, Galaxy showed the other side of their game—grit, determination, and unshakable focus. Furia were awarded a penalty early in the second half which was saved by Josh Towie. A solitary goal was all it took to break Furia FC's resistance as Levi Burns pounced on a loose ball which was shot by George Wallis. The final whistle blew. Perth City Galaxy FC were champions of the MSLB.

Diamond International Cup in Kota Denpasar!
We are thrilled to announce that Perth City Galaxy FC will be competing in our very first international futsal tournament in Kota Denpasar, Indonesia, on the 27th November 2024! This exciting milestone marks a new chapter for our club as we expand our horizons and take on some of the best futsal teams from across the region. The tournament will provide our players with invaluable experience, the opportunity to showcase their skills on an international stage, and strengthen our global network within the futsal community. Our team is eager to represent Perth and make an impact in Indonesia, while embracing the spirit of friendly competition and cultural exchange.
